Life after 40 shouldn’t be so tough…
Let’s talk about something we all carry… stress.
It’s the body’s nervous system response to pressure or perceived threat and as cliche` as it sounds this 6-letter word can definitely wreak havoc on us in many ways. In short bursts, stress can help you focus and get things done.
But chronic stress may show up as:
Weight gain around the midsection
Brain fog
Irritability
Sleep disruption
Fatigue even after resting
Increased inflammation
Blood pressure changes
The source of stress can be mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual and sometimes a combination of the four. Usually, we spend our time and resources trying to fix or resolve the symptoms of our stress, but rarely do we address the source.
This is where the real work followed by real results and MAGIC happens… I will address how you can first identify your stress, and then how you can slowly but surely address the problems and see results.
